ABOUT JAG

I have been an Art Director for the entertainment advertising design industry for more than 20 years, specializing in print and digital campaigns designing for some of the best entertainment studios such as Art Machine, A Trailer Park Co., BLT & Associates, and A Squared Design Group working on theatrical, home entertainment, television and video game projects. In 2006 I also received the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Award for Home Entertainment – Special Recognition Print for his work on the SAW:UNCUT Edition DVD packaging design.
 
Prior to working in the movie design industry, I was the Art Director for 7 years at Moonshine Music, the largest independent electronic dance music record label in America. I have designed numerous CD/Album cover art and print campaigns for the record label and still continue to work with Artists and DJs in the music industry. My work at Moonshine Music was recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts for "Soundblast 2001" and awarded for excellence as part of the best Packaging Designs in the Music Industry.
 
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphics and Packaging from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. I have been an instructor for the UCLA Extension Design Communication Arts program for more than 15 years. In 2007 I received the "Outstanding Instructor of the Year" Award from the UCLA Extension Department of the Arts. I still continue to inspire and teach Entertainment Design and Graphic Design Fundamentals class to young graphic designers every quarter.
